  • Who is Tape works?

Tape works consists of us, two CMD students, living in Breda. The idea of Tape Works was formed when we had too much time on our hands and wanted to develop our ideas into something big, yet not permanent. This worked out, so we didn’t stop there!

  • Ryan Schuijer

Ryan is committed to the design part in Tape works. He makes sure the visuals are well calculated and totally ready to tape. That is why Tape works comes prepared: we are able to make big things within a reasonable time frame.
Ryan is also a part-time designer and loves to make animations.

  • Lylouh van den Putte

The moment we started Tape works, Lylouh's enthousiasm is unstoppable. Whenever we get the chance to make tape art somewhere, she makes sure that the deal is made and fixes our materials and location setup.
Lylouh is also someone with keen eye for design and photography because of her interior design background.

Original design

Tape works makes their own custom designs, in their own style.

Fast apply

When the tape is applied, the art is done. No wait for it to dry or retouch.

Easy clean-up

Tape works is unlike other forms of art – for example grafitti – because it is not permanent and it only takes a minute to clean up.

"But why duct tape?"

This is a frequently asked question. We work with duct tape because it translates clean design with sharp stripes perfectly. With standard black duct tape, it is easy to go big within a reasonable amount of time.
You can also correct mistakes and the design is removeable when desired.

Tape works work

Initially we just wanted to make non-permanent art for ourself. But our idea got picked up fast by local parties and festivals and we showed with our talent that tape really works!
